Sanna is from Dublin and has been a member of the Church of Ireland all her life. For over 30 years, she has been involved in parish life, whilst at the same time, raising her small family.
In 2009, she received permission from the Bishop of Connor to serve as a volunteer in the Royal Group of Hospitals. Then, in 2012, she successfully applied for the vacant post of Church of Ireland Chaplain to these hospitals. In addition, she was appointed to the post of Church of Ireland Chaplain to Musgrave Park Hospital and over the past two years she ministers to the long term and respite patients in the Neurology Units there.
Sanna has known blessing and fulfilment in a busy ministry setting in these hospitals. She gives thanks for the continuing support and warmth of her colleagues, as well as the joy of her family and, especially, her little grandchildren.
